The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI), a newly declared “State Cancer Centre”, is a pioneering institution in pain management where, in the 1970s, Dr M. T. Bhatia started a pain management program.

On Feb 21, 2015, GCRI honored our Chairman, Dr M. R. Rajagopal, with the T. B. Patel award.
