Job Description
You will be the team leader of a medical palliative care team comprising you, as the doctor, two nurses and one psycho-social counsellor. You will visit patients at their homes. There, you will provide compassionate medical care so as to relieve their pain and manage their symptoms, ensuring that they have quality of life and die in dignity. You will be assigned a zone close to your home to minimize travel time to patients. This is a 9:30 am to 5:30 p.m. job – leaving your evenings free.
Qualifications:
At least a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from an Indian institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Experience: Two to three years of experience
Reporting to: Senior Physician and General Manager, PALCARE
Remuneration: Your salary will be generous and commensurate with your years of experience.

Personal characteristics:
- Have good medical knowledge and skills
- Be willing to learn the discipline of palliative care medicine and be prepared to undergo specialised training and regular refresher courses thereon.
