Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GC & RI), in collaboration with Pallium India, announces the next hands-on six weeks (full-time) course for doctors & nurses beginning on 1 Sept 2015 at GC & RI, Ahmedabad.
1. Certificate Courses in Pain and Palliative Medicine (CCPPM)
2. Certificate Courses in Palliative Nursing (CCPN)
Duration of Course: 01 Sept to 10 Oct 2015 (Six Weeks)
Last date to apply: 10 August 2015
A pair of doctor & nurse from a center will be given preference. Whatever specialty you are practicing, the course will improve your attitude towards patient care, communication skills and holistic approach to patient and family.
Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, a Regional Cancer Center, is committed towards care of cancer patients. It has fully established Palliative Care Services. The Department of Pain & Palliative Medicine offers Palliative Care through Out-patient services, In-patient services, Home care services and Hospice services, irrespective of stage of the disease.
