Dr Bharat Chauhan (Organizing Secretary) of the Trident Cancer Foundation, Mumbai invited Pallium India through Dr Jagruti Kamdar to participate in their workshop which was organized on the 6th of Aug 2022 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Andheri East, Mumbai.

The topic of the workshop was “Innovations in Oncology”. The participants were the Oncologists, Pain &Palliative Specialist, Surgeons, Nurses etc from different private hospitals from Mumbai like Nanavati Hospital, Bombay Hospital, Sujoy Hospital, Criticare Hospitals

Pallium India was the only NGO invited there working in the field of Palliative care.

The Regional Coordinator (Central India), Sunanda Samal, was the 3rd speaker in the workshop who presented about Pallium India, its activities and reach across the country. All the dignitaries were very happy to know that Pallium India is contributing so much in the field of palliative care. The organisers appreciated Pallium India’s efforts. Later few doctors approached the RC to know more about the training programmes of Pallium India and were interested to join the courses.  It was a successful event.
