Make them smile – send us toys!
A few years ago, in Pallium India’s paediatric outpatient clinic at S.A.T Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, one of our team members noticed the delight a bubble gun brought to the children who came to meet the doctor. A little boy, completely engrossed in the bubbles, did not even notice the syringe piercing his skin.
That was our first toy donation drive – the thunderous response from you all ensured that we were fully stocked for such a long time, keeping our children elated and – would you believe it? – eager to visit the hospital.
The little outpatient room, from which wails used to emanate, was transformed – to a place filled with ripples of laughter and squeals of excitement! So much that passers-by had to take a peek, to unravel the mystery.
Was it magic?
Of course – what else could it be?
And now, we’re running out of toys and we request your help in recreating this magic. Let’s join hands to bring a smile to their faces and joy to their hearts!
