Who said it has to be easy?  Most things that are worth doing in life do not come easy. We know it is going to be a tough call to ensure amendment of the Narcotics Act through the Parliament, but we are determined to do our best. During the last fortnight, three of our team – Dr Nandini Vallath, Mr Binod Hariharan and Dr Shalini Vallabhan, all spent about 4-8 days each in New Delhi on advocacy.  Pallium India’s vice chairman, Ms Poonam Bagai who lives in  Delhi, is also at it constantly. We know that many others – Ms Harmala Gupta, Dr Nagesh Simha and Mr Devesh Malladi are three names that come to mind first – are doing their best too. We hear that the Parliament is reconvening only on or after the 4th of December. We shall keep you informed!
