The next one month certificate course in Pain & Palliative Care for Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and Volunteers at MNJIO & RCC, Hyderabad, begins on 6 July 2015 (Monday) and ends on 1 August 2015. The course is conducted by MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Centre in collaboration with Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration- INCTR Canada and Pallium India. This is an opportunity to learn managing chronic pain, difficult symptoms, difficult issues around end of life care and communication skill training.

Note: Limited Scholarships are available for candidates by Indo American Cancer Association (IACA). For details please visit: Scholarships. Only Doctors and Nurses are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Training of a combination of nurse / doctor from a centre is encouraged but not mandatory. The expressed support from the head of the department / institution from where the candidates come and go back to would be an additional consideration. Scholarship awarded candidates are required to do an additional 2 weeks of internship after the completion of 4 weeks course. An additional certificate will be awarded by the IACA after the successful completion of 6 weeks course. Scholarship covers the cost of travel, boarding, lodging, and the registration fees. If the candidate is local, then the registration fees would be supported.
