Many palliative care activists got together in Bangalore on 16-17 March 2013 for a meeting organized by the Indian Association of Palliative Care.

The meeting decided on a joint effort by various palliative care organizations and planned several activities to support Government of India’s palliative care strategy. Participants carried home with them tasks for each organization to perform, which will be complementary to one another and will in turn complement the Government of India’s efforts.
