Into it’s third year, an Initiative of India Philanthropy Alliance, this year India Giving Day was held on March 14th, 2025, with early giving from March 1st and onwards. This year the lead sponsor was Rural India Support Trust (RIST) and MacArthur Foundation being the Major Sponsor.
The Pallium board in the USA showed interest in participating in this event in collaboration with Pallium India, in Trivandrum, Kerala. We got ourselves registered and submitted our application under the ‘Healthcare’ category. This was a major opportunity for Pallium India to raise funds and generate awareness about palliative care in the Indian Diaspora in the US.
As a first time participant, we are glad to announce, out of 37 participating Non-Profits, Pallium India finished at No.4 as per India Giving Day Leaderboard. Our Fundraising Goal: $50,000,we achieved: 79% In Total, we ended up raising ($39, 382). With a Donor Count of 213.

We thank our Fundraisers (Peer to Peer) who happened to be the board members, volunteers of the Pallium India Inc. (Kiruba Vembu, Rajesh Nanoo, Dr. Ann Broderick, Dr. Aju Mathew, Dr. Rajagopal, Prakash Menon and Cyrus) and the entire Pallium India Inc. Board, our volunteers in the USA for pulling up this event so successfully. At the same time we would like to ‘Thank’ all the donors who supported us in this initiative, and trusting us in our journey of compassion and care. Some donors with delight have shown interest over and beyond their donations to volunteer for Pallium India.
