As part of the continuous efforts to reach 10 million people and make India pain-free by 2030, the Education and Skill Building Department of Pallium India, along with support from all other departments, conducted the final examinations of the 2024 batch of Global fellowship in Palliative Medicine during 14 – 18 Dec 2024. 32 Fellows, including 02 from Nepal and 01 from Sri Lanka, attended the exams in person. One participant from Nigeria attended the final exam online. 29 cleared, all equipped to act as ambassadors of Palliative care in their regions of practice. 21 fellows secured A+, 7 got A grade and one fellow secured a B grade.

Experienced faculty members from JIPMER also conducted a 2-day Training of the Trainers(ToT) workshop for the fellows, which was the first of its kind.

The course dinner organized in honour of the fellows, with some singing and dancing, was also relaxing and fun-filled for everyone.

Participants shared that the entire course was organized and conducted in a professional manner and it was an experience of a lifetime in their career.
