Full house, as usual.

Would you believe it? In our tiny state of Kerala with only 1% of India’s landmass, this hall is full with palliative care nurses!

This is at Calicut and the event, the second Palliative Care Nurses’ Conference. What an enthusiastic gathering, particularly energised by two palliative care nurses being honoured by the President of India with the Florence Nightingale award 2017 just yesterday – Sindhu from Talasseri and Khafi from Lakshadweep!

The participants are particularly aiming to concentrate on improving knowledge. By the time they finish on the 14th of May, we expect they will have some significant educational activity sketched out.

Pallium India’s training coordinator Sheeba and nurses Ramya and Lekshmi are participating in the program. We shall wait for their update at the conclusion of the program.
