Extension for Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) is the brainchild of Dr Sanjeev Arora of Albuquerque, USA. Its slogan is Move Knowledge; Not Patients. ECHO uses an online learning platform through which participants share their knowledge and experience.

The first ECHO program undertaken by TIPS had commenced on 20th January, 2017 and was attended by several people connecting from different locations, who participated with great energy and enthusiasm.

We eagerly look forward to the second season which will begin on June 13, 2017.

The topic of ECHO Season 2 is “Multimodal approach to pain management“. This includes 5 parts:

Part 1. Methadone
Part 2. Physical therapies in pain management
Part 3. Psychosocial aspects of pain management
Part 4. Interventional pain management
Part 5. Management of difficult pain & mandated requirements by Narcotics regulations of India
