Announcing the launch of the Singapore-India: Palliative Care Accessibility Core Training (PACT), a 3-year healthcare initiative between Pallium India and the Singapore International Foundation (SIF). This project aims to enhance palliative care practices in India by fostering knowledge exchange between healthcare professionals in Singapore and India.

Call-out for Applicants for PACT

We are seeking 30 passionate doctors, nurses, social workers, therapists, and volunteers with a strong interest in palliative care services.

Start Date of the Course: 3 March 2025

Last date to apply: 20 January 2025

Duration of the Course: 3 years

If you meet the following criteria, please send in your application for selection:

  • Healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, social workers, therapists, volunteers) or medical college faculty with at least two years of palliative care experience.
  • Ability to implement cascade training within your state and contribute to ongoing local healthcare training and development.
  • Endorsement from your respective institution.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication and learning.
  • Willingness to travel, attend all training sessions, and complete all assigned tasks.
  • Note: Selected candidates must attend the project launch and first workshop from 3 to 6 March 2025 in Kerala.

Programme Structure
  • Focus on both clinical and facilitation skills, trainees to become Master Trainers and will co-train alongside from second year onwards.
  • Training curriculum comprising five core modules. Each module includes a 3-day workshop (online/onsite), pre- and post-assignments, projects, and assessments. Master Trainers will conduct cascade training through symposia or organised sessions at hospitals or medical colleges.
  • Selected Master Trainers will also have the exciting opportunity to participate in a study visit to Singapore at the end of the project.

Scholarship

100% scholarship on fees will be provided for a limited number of applicants. Also up to ₹20,000 towards travel and stay for each onsite workshop.
