World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is a unified day of action to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world. It is observed on the second Saturday of October every year.

In 2020, World Hospice and Palliative Care Day (WHPCD) falls on October 10, Saturday. This year’s theme is Palliative Care: it’s “My Care, My Comfort.”

    To honour and celebrate the auspicious day is a need of the hour. Awareness campaign for hospice and palliative care is the main duty to support the patients with life-threatening illness who have the right to be cared and to have comfort with compassion, empathy and LOVE. Our vision is to mitigate suffering , alleviating agony of physical, emotional, social and financial, spiritual providing COMFORT during the end of life care leading to better quality of life and dignified death peacefully. The theme “My care, My comfort” means to advocate Rights of the patients to have the best care and comfort.
